Professional Wedding Photographers and Pictures

Selecting a wedding photographer is probably one of the most important decisions you will come cross when planning a wedding. Whether your wedding is at home or a destination wedding you want to make it a memorable experience. To ensure you are able to continue to relish the moment and enjoy your pictures for a lifetime, a professional photographer is a must. Photography is an art and an experienced and creative photographer should be able to capture your special day with ease.

Destination weddings are very popular these days. You can hire a local photographer but the down side is you probably won't get to physically view their work. Some photographers are willing to travel - just ask. You may be surprised as to how reasonable they can be.

I have been fortunate enough to have had two very important weddings pretty much back to back and both completely different. One was in New York, the other a destination wedding in Ft. Myers Beach, Fl. Here are some professional photos of both of them.

The best photographers can usually be found through word of mouth through a recently married friend or mother of the bride. Ask to see their wedding album, most newly wed brides are more than happy to oblige. Once you find a photographer you like ask a variety of questions. These are the one I asked when my daughter was getting married.

Do you have any other weddings booked for that week?

What are the packages and fees ? And hours of work?

Do we get to keep the proofs?

How many rolls of film do you shoot?

What wedding design albums do you offer?

Can I custom design a package?

How long before you deliver?

How much do you charge to travel for a destination wedding?

A good photographer will take the time to explain and answer all your questions. They will also show you a selection of their photo albums and different professional pictures taken. They should have a wide selection of shots to show some of their work including black and white photographs as well as special effect shots taken with special lenses. I particularly like the fish eye lense.

Wedding picture prices can range from basic low cost to high end expense packages. If you are concerned about the wedding photography package prices you can always select the most affordable to fit your budget and make sure to remind friends and family to take their cameras as well. For my daughters wedding we ended up doing this and the amateur pictures turned out pretty amazing.
